William I was born in 1028 in King of England and his baptism took place in 1066 in Norman Conquest, as an adult.  William I's father was Robert I "the Magnificent ," Duke of Normandy and his mother was Harlette de Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were Richard II the Good ,4th Duke of Normandy and Judith of Rennes; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert De Falaise and Doda. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert and Emma.  He died at the age of 59 on September 10th, 1087 in Hermentruvilleby, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France.  He was buried in Minster of Caen, Normandy.
