Maude de was born in 1155 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England.  Maude de's father was Bernard IV de St. Valery , of Beckley & Horton and her mother was Eleanor (Aenor\Aanor) de Dommart. She had a brother named Thomas de.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-sister named Laura (Laurette) de.  She died at the age of 55 in 1210 in Corfe, Windsor, England.  She was buried in By starvation, walled up in Corfe Castle ordered by King John.
