Simon II de was born after 1103 in Northamptonshire, England.  Simon II de's father was Simon I de St. Liz , Earl of Huntingdon and his mother was Matilda de Huntingdon.  His paternal grandparents were Ranulph "The Rich" de St. Liz and Judith; his maternal grandparents were Waltheof II Earl of Huntingdon & Northumberland and Judith of Lens. He had a sister named Maud de.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named Henry Earl of.  He died in August 1153 in Huntington, Huntingdonshire, England.  He was buried in St Andrews Priory, Fife, Scotland.

‌Simon II de and Isabel de were married in a religious ceremony about 1137 in 1st husband.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Simon III de, William de and Isabel Alice de.
