Gerberga of was born in 0913 in Nordhausen, Saxony, Prussia.  Gerberga of's father was Henry I "The Fowler" Saxony Holy Roman Emperor and her mother was Mathilda of Ringleheim.  Her paternal grandparents were Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of Saxony and Hedwig Princess of Germany; her maternal grandparents were Theodoric I Count of Ringleheim and Ludmilla Ragnhildis. She had two brothers and a sister, named Otto I "The Great" Holy Roman, Henry I Duke of and Hedwige of.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 71 on May 5th, 0984 in Reims, Marne, Champagne, France.

‚ÄĆGerberga of and Louis IV "Transmarinus" King of were married in a religious ceremony after 0939 in 2nd husband.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Lothair King of, Charles Count of Lower and Matilda Princess of.
