Beatrice of was born about 1201 in Chambery, Savoie, Rhone-Alpes, France.  Beatrice of's father was Thomas (Tomaso) I Count of Savoy and her mother was Margaret (Beatrice) of Geneva.  Her paternal grandparents were Humbert III "Le Saint" Count of Savoy and Beatrix d'Ivrea of Vienne; her maternal grandparents were William I Count of Geneva and Beatrix of Faucigny. She had two brothers and a sister, named Amadeo IV Count of Chablais & Aosta &, Thomas de and Agnes de.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died in December 1266 in France.
