Joan (Joanna) was born in 1310 in Norfolk, England. Joan (Joanna)'s father was Henry Plantagenet Earl of Lancaster and her mother was Maud de Chaworth. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Crouchback Plantagenet Earl Leicester and Blanche Capet de Artois; her maternal grandparents were Sir Patric de Chaworth II Lord Kidwillyin and Isabella de Beauchamp. She had a brother and five sisters, named Henry de Grosment, Blanche, Maude, Isabel, Eleanor and Mary. She died at the age of 39 on July 7th, 1349.-
