Henry "Young King" was born in Bermondsey Palace, Surrey, England.  Henry "Young King"'s father was Henry II "Curt Mantel" King of England and his mother was Eleanor of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey IV Plantagenet , Comte d'Anjou and Maud "The Empress" Princess of England; his maternal grandparents were William VIII Count of Poitou , X Duke d'Aquitaine and Eleanor de Chatellerault. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard I "The Lion Hearted" King of, Geoffrey, John I "Lackland" Plantagenet King of, Matilda Princess of and Eleanor Princess of. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William I, Agnes Capet Princess of, Marie Capet Princess of and Alix Princess of.  He died on June 11th, 1183 in Chateau Martel, Turenne, France (dvp).
