Geoffrey VI "Mantell" was born before 1135 in ROUEN, Seine-Maritime, France.  Geoffrey VI "Mantell"'s father was Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and his mother was Empress of England Matilda.  His paternal grandparents were Fulk V " Le Juene" (Folques V) D' ANJOU King of Jerusalem and Ermengard Du Maine Countess Of Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry I "Beauclerc" Of England and Queen Matilda "Atheling" Princess Of Scotland. He had four brothers named Henry II, Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou, William and Hamelin of Anjou.  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Hamelin, Adewis, Marie Abbess of and Emma.  He died in 1158 in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France.  He was buried in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France.
