Geoffrey IV was born on August 24th, 1113 in Anjou, France.  Geoffrey IV's father was [King Jerusalem] Foulques V Fulk V Count Of [King Jerusalem]/Anjou and his mother was [Countess Of Anj Ermangarde (Ermentrude) De Ermengarde Du [Countess Of Anj/Maine.  His paternal grandparents were [Count] Foulques IV "Rechin" Anjou [Count]/Rechin and Queen Of France Bertrade De Montfort Queen Of France; his maternal grandparents were Count Of Maine Helias De La Fleche Count Du Maine Count Of Maine and [Countess Of Mai Maud De Chateau Du Loire [Countess Of Mai. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Elias Of, Gelias Count Of, Sibilla (Sibyl) (Sybil), Mathilde D' and Isabella (Matilda) Of. He had two half-brothers named Baldwin III Of and Aumary I De Anjou King Of.  He died at the age of 38 on September 7th, 1151 in Chateau, Eure-Et-Loire, Normandy, France.  He was buried in September 1151 in Cathedral, Le Mans, France.
