Elgifu was born in 0912. Elgifu's father was King Edward I "The Elder" Of England OF WESSEX and her mother was Queen AElfaeda OF ENGLAND. She had a brother and two sisters, named Edmund I "The Magnificent" "THe Deed Doer" Of England, Hilda and Ogive. She had two half-sisters named Edith and Emliane.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
They had a son named Bouchard.
