Gundred was born in 1063 in Normandy, France.  Gundred's father was King William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy OF ENGLAND and her mother was Matilda OF FLANDERS.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" "The Devil" DUKE OF NORMANDY and Herleva DE FAILAISE; her maternal grandparents were Count Baldwin V OF FLANDERS and Princess Adela Of France CARPET. She had a brother and three sisters, named Henry I "Beauclerc" "The Good Scholar", Adela Of England, Alveva and Maud Margaret.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers named William Of Whittington and William II.  She died at the age of 22 in 1085 in Castle Acre.  She was buried in Lewes Priory.

‌Gundred were married in a religious ceremony in 1077 in Normandy, France.  She had a biological son named William II of Warren And Surrey.
