Edith was born in 0920. Edith's father was King Edward I "The Elder" Of England OF WESSEX and her mother was Ecgwyn OF WESSEX. She had a sister named Emliane. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Edmund I "The Magnificent" "THe Deed Doer" Of England, Hilda, Elgifu and Ogive.General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
