Robert De was born in 1031 in Mortagne-Au-Perche, Orne, Normandy, France.  Robert De's father was Harlevin ( Herluin) Conteville [Vicount] and his mother was Arlette Herleve De Falaise.  His paternal grandparents were [Earl Of Comyn] Jean Of Tonnbridge De Jean [Earl Of Comyn]/Conteville and Mrs. John Or Jean De Conteville; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert " The Tanner" De Falaise [Chamberlain] and Mrs. Doda Or Duxia Duxia Falaise. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Odo Bishop Of, Andre Seigneur De, Emma De, Miss De, Mathilde De, Muriel De, Adelaide De, Dau. De and Isabella De. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William I "The Conqueror" King Of and Adelaide Of.  He died at the age of 64 on December 8th, 1095 in France.  He was buried in Fought At Battle Of Hastings.
