Ralph de was born in 1190 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.  Ralph de's father was Roger de MORTIMER LORD OF WIGMORE/LORD OF WIGMORE and his mother was Isabel De FERRERS.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh de MORTIMER Lord of Wigmore and Maud (Matilda) De MESCHINES; his maternal grandparents were William de FERRERS 3rd Earl of Derby and Sybil de BRAOSE. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Ralph de, Hugh De, Roger, Robert De, Philip, Joan De and Sined.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Hugh De, Miss De, Joane (Isabel) de and Miss De.  He died at the age of 56 on August 6th, 1246 in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.  He was buried in Wigmore, Herefordshire, England.


Ralph de's family with Gwladys "Ddu" Verch LLEWELYN PRINCESS OF NORTH WALES/PRINCESS OF NORTH WALES

‌Ralph de and Gwladys "Ddu" Verch were married in a religious ceremony about 1221 in England.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Roger de, Hugh, John De, Peter De, Maud, Joan and Isolda De.
