St. David I was born about 1080 in Scotland.  St. David I's father was Malcolm III Caennmor King of Scots and his mother was St. Margaret the Exile of Wessex. He had three sisters named Matilda "Atheling" Princess Of, Mary and Thora Canmore of. He had a half-brother named Duncan II of Scotland.  He died on May 24th, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.
