William De was born in 1156 in Surrey, Kent, England.  William De's father was 5th Earl Of Surrey Hamelin Plantagenet 5th Earl Of Surrey and his mother was Heiress Of Surrey Isabel De Warenne Heiress Of Surrey.  His paternal grandparents were Count Of Anjou Geoffrey IV Plantagenet Count Of Anjou/Le Bon and [Concubine] Adelaide Of Angers [Concubine]; his maternal grandparents were 3rd Earl Of Surrey William De Warenne 3rd Earl Of Surrey and Of Alencon Ela De Talvas Of Alencon/Adela. He had a brother and six sisters, named Geoffrey, Ida (Isabel), Adela (Ela), Maud Plantagenet De, Suzanne Plantagenet De, Margaret and Mary De.  He died at the age of 84 on May 27th, 1240 in London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in Lewes Priory, Lewes, Sussex.
