Thomas De was born in 1314 in Upholland, Lancashire, England. Thomas De's father was Robert III 1St Lord De Holand and his mother was Maud La Zouche. His paternal grandparents were Robert II De Holand Sir Knight and Elizabeth De Samlesbury; his maternal grandparents were Alan La Zouche Lord Of Ashby and Eleanor De Segrave. He had a brother and five sisters, named Robert IV 2Nd Lord De, Margaret De, Maud De, Alianore De, Elizabeth De and Margery De. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 46 on December 28th, 1360 in Normandy, France. He was buried in Grey Friars Chur, Stamford, Lincolnshire, England.General Notes
