Clovis I "The Great" King of was born about 0466 in Reims, Marne, Champagne, France.  Clovis I "The Great" King of's father was Childeric I King of Franks and his mother was Basina of Thuringia.  His paternal grandparents were Merovech King of Franks and Chlodeswinthe of The Salic Franks; his maternal grandparents were Chlodwig King of Koeln and Basina of The Saxe. He had a sister named Andelfieda of Merovinga.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died on November 27th, 0511 in Church of St Pierre, Paris, France.
