Alix Princess of was born about 1170 in Paris, Seine, Ile-de-France, France.  Alix Princess of's father was Louis VII "The Younger" King of France and her mother was Alix (Adelaide) of Champagne.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VI "The Fat" King of France and Adelaide of Savoy; her maternal grandparents were Theobald IV Comte de Blois , (II) de Champagne and Mathilde (Maud) von Sponheim of Carinthia. She had a brother and a sister, named Philip II "Philip Augustus" King of and Agnes Anna de Capet Princess of.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-sisters named Margaret Princess of, Agnes Capet Princess of, Marie Capet Princess of and Alix Princess of.  She died in 1221 in Castile, Spain.
