Gundred of was born about 1052 in Flanders, France.  Gundred of's father was Gherbod the Fleming , 1st Earl of Chester and her mother was Matilda (Maud) of Flanders.  Her maternal grandparents were Baudouin V Count of Flanders and Adele (Aelis) Princess of France. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert II "Curthose" Duke of, William II "Rufus" King of, Henry I "Beauclerc" King of and Adela of.  She died on May 27th, 1085 in Castle Acre, Norfolk, England (in childbirth).  She was buried in Priory of Lewes, Sussex, England.


Gundred of's family

‌Gundred of were married in a religious ceremony before 1077 in Normandy, France.  She had a biological son named William de.
