William FITZOSBERN 
William was born about 1030 in Of, Poitiers, Poitou, France. William's father was Osbern Steward of Normandy and his mother was Emma Aldreda of Ivry. His maternal grandparents were Ralph Count of Ivry and Erneberge Albreda De Caux. He had a sister named Emma. He was the older of the two children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richard, Robert, William and Alice. He died in Flanders. He was buried in Cormeilles Abbey, France.General Notes
