William II "Rufus" was born about 1060 in Normandy, France.  William II "Rufus"'s father was William I "The Conqueror" King Of England and his mother was Matilda (Maud) Flanders [Queen England].  His paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke Of Normandy and Arlette Herleve De Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Baudouin V Count Of Flanders Count Of Flanders and Adele Princess Of France. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Robert II "Curthose" Duke Of, Richard, Henry I "Beauclerc", Gundred-Gundrada Of, Adelaide (Adeliza The Nun) Of, Cecilia, Margaret, Constance Of, Adela Princess Of, Agatha, Anna and Matilda Dau Of William Of.  He died on August 1st, 1100 in New Forset While Hunting.  He was buried on August 2nd, 1100 in Winchester Cathederal.
