John "Lackland" King was born on December 24th, 1166 in Kings Manorhouse, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.  John "Lackland" King's father was King Henry II Plantagenet of England and his mother was Eleanore Princess of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and Empress of England Matilda; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume X Duke Aquitaine and Eleanor De CHATELLERAULT. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Prince of, Henry Prince of, Geoffrey Prince of, Philip Prince of, Richard I "Coeur, Matilda Princess of, Eleanor of and Joanna Princess of. He had ten half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Richard I, Geoffrey, John "Lackland", Henry, William, William of Salisbury, Peter Arch Deacon, Morgan Provost of, Geoffrey, Matilda, Eleanor, Eleanor, Joanna Princess of and Joan.  He died at the age of 49 on October 19th, 1216 in Newark, Nottinghamshire, England.  He was buried in Worcester Cathed, Worcester, Worcestershire, England.
