Alice de was born about 1340 in Wokefield, Berkshire, England.  Alice de's father was John de Driby , of Wokefield and her mother was Amy de Gaveston.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Driby , Sir and Joan de Tateshal , Heir of Tattershall; her maternal grandparents were Piers de Gaveston , Earl of Cornwall and Margaret de Clare , Countess of Gloucester.  She was an only child.  She died on October 12th, 1412 in Stamford, Lincolnshire, England.
