Alix de was born about 1155 in Braine, Aisne, Picardy, France.  Alix de's father was Robert I Count of Dreux and her mother was Agnes de Vaudemont.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VI "The Fat" King of France and Adelaide of Savoy; her maternal grandparents were Guy Seigneur de Braine & de Vaudemont and Alix. She had a brother named Robert II Count de Braine &.  She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-sisters named Adele de and Alice (Adelheid) de.  She died after 1217.
