Philip I le was born in 1290 in Stoke, Gloucestershire, England. Philip I le's father was Hugh Baron le Despenser , Earl of Winchester and his mother was Isabel de Beauchamp. His maternal grandparents were William de Beauchamp , 9th Earl of Warwick and Maud FitzJohn. He had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh Baron le, Aline le and Isabel le. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Maud de. He died at the age of 23 on September 24th, 1313.General Notes
