William II was born about 1081 in Sussex, England.  William II's father was Earl of Surrey William De Warenne Earl of Surrey and his mother was Gundred Princess of England.  His paternal grandparents were Ralf De Warenne and Beatrice De Vascoeuil; his maternal grandparents were William the Conqueror King of England and Matilda Countess of Flanders. He had two sisters named Edith and Editha.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died on May 11th, 1138 in Lewes, Sussex, England.


William II's family with Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois

‌William II and Isabel De Crepi were married in a religious ceremony before 1118 in South Brabant, France.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Rainald, William III and Gundred (Adelaide).
