Otho Count was born in 0979 in Vermandois, Normandy, France. Otho Count's father was Herbert III de Vermandois Count de Vermandois and his mother was Ermengard de Bar. His paternal grandparents were Albert I "The Pious" Count of Vermandois and Gerberge Princess Of Lorraine; his maternal grandfather was Reinald Count De Bar. He was an only child. He died at the age of 64 on May 25th, 1043.
