Her paternal grandparents were Saier IV de Quincy , 1st Earl of Winchester and Margaret de Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Alan of Galloway , Constable of Scotland and Miss de Lacy. She had two sisters named Elizabeth de and Ellen (Helen) (Elena) de. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 33 in 1258 in Clerkenwell, England.-
