Waleran was born about 1140 in Warwick Castle, Warwickshire, England.  Waleran's father was Earl of Warwick Roger De Newburgh De Beaumont Earl of Warwick and his mother was Gundred (Adelaide) De Warenne.  His maternal grandparents were Earl of Surrey William II De Warenne Earl of Surrey and Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William I "The Lion" King of, David of, William, Ada, Marjory Princess of, Margaret, Margaret Of and Avicia.  He died before October 13th, 1204 in England.

‌Waleran and Alice were married in a religious ceremony about 1196 in Warwickshire, England.  They had a daughter named Alice.

They had a daughter named Juliana.
