Robert DE Burgo Of Cornwall was born in 1031 in Normandy, France.  Robert DE Burgo Of Cornwall's father was Herluin DE BURGH DE CONTEVILLE and his mother was Herleva DE FAILAISE.  His paternal grandfather was Lord Jean Of Tonsburgh DE CONTEVILLE; his maternal grandparents were Fulbert The Tanner DE FAILAISE and Duxia DE FAILAISE. He had two sisters named Emma DE MORTAIN and Muriel. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy, Adeliza Of Normandy, Godiva and Liegarde.  He died at the age of 59 on December 8th, 1090.  He was buried in Abbey Of St. Grestain.
