Joan de Clare 
Joan de was born about 1180 in Tunbridge Castle, Kent, England. Joan de's father was Richard de Clare , MCS, Earl of Hertford and her mother was Amice FitzRobert Countess of Gloucester. She had a brother and a sister, named Gilbert de and Maud de. She was the youngest of the three children.
