Agnes of was born about 1174 in Chester, Cheshire, England.  Agnes of's father was Hugh de Kevelioc , 5th Earl of Chester and her mother was Bertrade de Montfort.  Her paternal grandparents were Ranulph de Gernon , 4th Earl of Chester and Maud FitzRobert de Caen; her maternal grandparents were Simon III Chauve de Montfort , Count d'Evereux and Maud Countess of Evereux. She had a brother and five sisters, named Ranulf de, Amicia le, Maud of, Mabel of, Beatrix le and Hawise le.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died on November 2nd, 1247.

‌Agnes of and William II de were married in a religious ceremony on November 2nd, 1192.  They had a son and two daughters, named William III de, Bertha de and Sibyl de.
