Eleanor Princess of was born in 1244 in Burgos, Castile, Spain.  Eleanor Princess of's father was Ferdinand III "The Saint" King of Leon & Castile and her mother was Joan de Dammartin , of Ponthieu.  Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso IX King of Leon and Berengaria of Castile; her maternal grandparents were Simon II de Dammartin , Count of Aumale and Marie Countess of Ponthieu. She had a half-brother named Alfonso X "The Wise" King of Leon &.  She died at the age of 46 on November 28th, 1290 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England.  She was buried on December 16th, 1290 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.

‌Eleanor Princess of and Edward I Plantagenet "Longshanks" King O were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1254 in Burgos, Spain.  They had a son and three daughters, named Edward II Plantagenet King of, Eleanor, Joan "of Acre" and Elizabeth.
