Charles Capet 
Charles was born about 1093 in Vermandois, Normandy, France. Charles' father was Hugh "Magnus" Capet , Duke of France and his mother was Adelaide de Vermandois. His paternal grandparents were Henry I Capet , King of France and Anna Yaroslavna , Grand Dutchess of Keiv; his maternal grandparents were Herbert IV, Count of Vermondois and Adela de Vexin. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Raul, Henry, Guilaume, Matilde, Isabel, Beatrice, Constance and Agnes. He was the second youngest of the nine children.-
