Isabel De was born about 1178 in Of, Hereford, England.  Isabel De's father was Richard De CLARE EARL OF HERTFORD and her mother was Amice FITZROBERT COUNTESS OF GLOUCESTER.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger De CLARE 2nd EARL OF HERTFORD and Maud de SAINT HILARY. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Gilbert de, Richard De, Maud (Matilda) De and Joane De.  She was the second oldest of the five children.

‌Isabel De and William Lord Of Bramber De were married in a religious ceremony about 1197.  They had seven sons and a daughter, named Richard, Anthony De, Giles De, Philip De, Walter De, William De, John "Tadody" and Maud De.

‌Isabel De and Roger De were married in a religious ceremony about 1212.  They had a daughter named Agatha De.
