William Fitzosbern De was born in 1030 in Poitiers, Poitou, France.  William Fitzosbern De's father was Osborne De Crepon [Steward Of Normandy] and his mother was Emma De Ivry.  His paternal grandparents were Herfast De Crepon and Mrs. Cyrid (Nmn-Herfast) De Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Raoul Count D' Ivry and Albreda. He had a brother and two sisters, named Osbern, Emma and Weva.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died in Flanders.  He was buried in Cormeilles Abbey, France.
