Robert was born in 1477 in Stoke, Gloucestershire, England. Robert's father was Robert Brent and his mother was Margaret Malet. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Brent Sir and Mrs. John Brent; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Malet and Joan Roynon. He had a sister named Agnes. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 54 in 1531.-
