Laurette De was born about 1176 in Bramber, Sussex, England.  Laurette De's father was William III 5Th Baron De Braose Lord Bramber and her mother was Maud (Matilda) De St. Valery [Lady Of Lahaie].  Her paternal grandparents were William II De Braose 1st Baron Of Gwentland and Bertha De Pitres Heiress Of Brecon/Hereford; her maternal grandparents were Bernard IV De St. Valery and Eleanor De Domnart. She had thirteen brothers and six sisters, named Roger De, Robert De, Thomas De, Giles De, William IV The Younger De, Walter De, Reginald De, Hugh De, Henry De, Bernard De, Fulk De, Phlilp De, John De, Flandrina De, Matilda De, Joan De, Margaret De, Leuca De and Eleanor De.  She was the nineth oldest of the twenty children.  She died on March 4th, 1266 in Hackington, Near Canterbury, Kent, England.
