Maud Matilda De was born about 1222 in Herefordshire, England.  Maud Matilda De's father was 2nd Earl Hereford&Essex Humphrey V De Bohun 2nd Earl Hereford&Essex and her mother was Maud D' Eu.  Her paternal grandparents were 1st  Earl Hereford] Henry De Bohun 1st  Earl Hereford] and [Countess Of Essex] Maud De Mandeville [Countess Of Essex]; her maternal grandparents were Raoul I De Lusignan Count Of Eu and Lady Hastings Alice Countess D' Alice Lady Hastings/Eu. She had a brother and two sisters, named Humphrey VI De, Alice De and Eleanor De.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died on October 20th, 1252 in Groby, Leicestershire, England.  She was buried in Brackley, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
