William De Albini I Lord was born in 1150 in Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, England.  William De Albini I Lord's father was William De Albini-Meschines Lord of Belvoir and his mother was Adaliza of Louvain.  His paternal grandparents were William "Brito" De Toeni and Maud De Senilis St. Liz; his maternal grandparents were Godfrey I Duke of Lorraine and Ida of Chiny & Namur. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William D'Aubigny "le Breton" IV Earl of, Geoffrey, Ralph, Henry, Simon, Matilda, Olivia and Agatha.  He died at the age of 86 in 1236 in Castle Belvoir, Leicester, England.
