Mabel (Mabirie) de was born about 1162 in Dunstanville, Kent, England. Mabel (Mabirie) de's father was Robert de Beaumont , Count of Meulan and her mother was Maud FitzRoy of Cornwall. Her paternal grandmother was Agnes de Montfort; her maternal grandfather was Reynold de Reginald , Earl of Cornwall/Dunstanville. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Isabel de Meulan de. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died after May 1st, 1204.General Notes
He [William de Vernon] married Mabirie, or Mabel, daughter of Robert DE DUNSTANVILLE, 1st COUNT OF MEULAN of that family, by Maud, daughter and coheir of Reynold DE DUNSTANVILLE, EARL OF CORNWALL. She was living 1 May 1204. He died 8 or 10 September 1217, and was buried in Christ Church, Twynham [some say, at Tiverton]. [Complete Peerage IV:315-6, XIV:259, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
