Ramon Berenguer II Count of was born about 1053 in Barcelona, Spain.  Ramon Berenguer II Count of's father was Ramon Berenguer I Count of Barcelona and his mother was Almonde (Almodis) de la Marche.  His paternal grandparents were Berenguer Ramon I Count of Barcelona and Sancha Sanchez de Castile; his maternal grandparents were Bernard I Comte de la Marche and Amelie d' Aulnay. He had a brother and a sister, named Berenguer Ramon II "Fratricide" Count and Agnes of.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Hugh VI "Le Diable" Sire de, William IV Count of, Raymond VI Count of, Almode of and Garsinde de.  He died on December 5th, 1082 in Killed on way to Gerona, probably by twin brother and co-ruler.
