Hugh "Lupus" D' was born about 1047 in Normandy, France.  Hugh "Lupus" D''s father was Richard Le Goz Viscount D' Avranches and his mother was Emma De Conteville.  His paternal grandparents were Toustien De Gernon Let Goz (Lord Heismar) and Judith De Montandlier; his maternal grandparents were [Vicount] Harlevin ( Herluin) Conteville [Vicount] and Arlette Herleve De Falaise. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Albert De, Turstin Of, Judith D', Albreda D', Margaret D' and Arbella De Loup.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died on July 27th, 1101 in St Werburg's Abbey, Cheshire, England (As A Monk).
