Henry Beauclerc was born in 1070 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.  Henry Beauclerc's father was King William Angevin and his mother was Countess Matilda LeChauvre.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Robert Normandy and Harlette Herleve Falaise; his maternal grandparents were Count Baudouin LeChauvre and Princess Adela Capet. He had three sisters named Magdalene Agatha, Gundred Andred and Adelaide.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 65 in 1135 in St Denis, Seine-St Denis, France.  He was buried in reading Abbey, England.
