William A. 'Bobby' was born on June 3rd, 1815. William A. 'Bobby''s father was John Meadows and his mother was Keziah Jane 'Kissay' Horn. His paternal grandparents were Israel Meadows and Barbara 'Barbary' Green. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John Hood, Jacob, James Tolbert 'Big Jim', Matilda, Susan, Lavina and Elvira Elma. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
