John Hood Meadows

John Hood was born on August 5th, 1817. John Hood's father was John Meadows and his mother was Keziah Jane 'Kissay' Horn. His paternal grandparents were Israel Meadows and Barbara 'Barbary' Green. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William A. 'Bobby', Jacob, James Tolbert 'Big Jim', Matilda, Susan, Lavina and Elvira Elma. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
