Richard's father was John Masterson and his mother was Sarah Tobin. His paternal grandparents were Edward, Sr. Masterson and Mary Lindsay; his maternal grandparents were James Tobin and Esther ?. Richard stayed in Fayette Co., Pennsylvania after his marriage. Was in
the 1810 Census, but died before the 1820 Census which had a listing for
Susannah.
