Robert Hays 
Robert was born on June 16th, 1917 in Monroe County, Indiana. Robert's father was Bruce Hays and his mother was Alta Mae Butcher. His maternal grandparents were Enoch Homer Butcher and Laura Agnes Shields. He had a brother named Tommy Alvin. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 27 on February 14th, 1945. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
Robert never married. He was in the U.S. Air Force during WWII as a 1st
Lt. in the 508 Army Air Force in South Africa.
