Glen William Fowler 
Glen William was born on February 9th, 1925 in Monroe County, Indiana. Glen William's father was Fred Fowler and his mother was Mary Anis Floyd. His paternal grandparents were William Fowler and Lizzie Bartley; his maternal grandparents were George Franklin Floyd and Mamie Alma Shields. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James Edward, Living, Living and Living. He died at the age of 20 on February 21st, 1945 in Solian, France during the Normandy Beach Invasion. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
Glen was adopted as a baby from the Monroe County Welfare by Fred. He
died at Solian,France. Glen William served in the U.S. Army Infantry, Co.
E 345th Inf. 87 Div., during WWII and was killed in action in the
Normandy Beach Invasion. He was originally buried in Military Cemetery
#1, Solian France. After the war his body was brought back and interned
at Clear Creek Cemetery.
